Frequently asked questions
Billing, account, what's free during beta, and the rough edges we already know about.
Beta & access
Am I paying for this during the test?
No. Beta testers are free for the duration of the test. We'll give clear notice before anything switches over. There's no card required to use the app right now.
How long is the beta?
We don't have a fixed end date yet — we'll keep it open until the core flows are stable and the things you're flagging stop being surprises. Expect at least a few months.
Can I bring my real clients onto the platform during beta?
Yes, and we'd love it. Just know that we're shipping fast — if you hit a bug that blocks a real client interaction, ping us and we'll prioritize. Your data is real, scoped to you, and won't be touched without telling you first.
Billing & plans
What are the plan tiers?
Starter $29/mo · up to 5 clients · core features.
Pro $59/mo · up to 25 clients · AI assist, branding.
Business $99/mo · unlimited clients · full branding.
Gym $249/mo · up to 5 trainer seats under one owner — cheaper per-trainer than 5 individual Pro accounts.
Test mode prices visible in Settings → Subscription. None of these charge you during beta.
Is there a free tier after beta?
Undecided. Beta testers will get founder pricing locked in for at least a year regardless — we won't ask you to test and then price you out.
Clients & programs
Can a client have more than one program?
One active program at a time — that's enforced at the database level. Past programs stay in history with their stats intact. See Assigning programs for details.
What happens to a client's data if I delete them?
You can archive without deleting — that's the recommended path during beta. Hard delete removes their workout history, messages, and reports and is irreversible. We'll surface a confirmation before anything destructive.
Can I copy a program between clients?
Yes — the template stays in your library forever. Assigning to a new client creates a separate copy you can edit independently. See Creating programs.
The client PWA
What does the client see?
An installable PWA on their phone. They see today's workout (with logging UI), their program at a glance, messages with you, and weekly reports you've sent. On Business tier, it's branded with your logo and color.
Does the client app work offline?
Yes. The PWA caches the shell and the active workout. Clients can log sets in the gym with no signal — when they come back online, everything syncs. There's a generic mutation queue that handles set logs, body metrics, recovery logs, and messages.
Known limitations
What doesn't work yet that you're aware of?
Video uploads in messages — text only for now.
Calendar sync (Google/Apple) — not wired up yet.
Apple Health / wearable import — on the roadmap, not in v1.
Multi-trainer client sharing — gym accounts share visibility, but cross-account client transfer is manual.

I'm seeing a weird bug. What now?
